  1. A full refund will be given if you withdraw from a Fall I class by August 24, 2008, from a Fall II class by October 19, 2008.
  2. The YMCA cancels the class.

Refunds will be given by check or by YMCA credit voucher.  Credit vouchers must be used within one calendar year.  Refunds by check usually take 3-5 weeks to process.

Withdrawal Period:  A 75% voucher will be issued  if you withdraw from a Fall I class by September 9, 2007, from a Fall IO class by October 21, 2007.  YMCA credit voucher to be used within one calendar year.  No credits will be issued after the above dated.

A prorated refund will be issued if:

  1. The Program Director has to cancel the class due to unforeseen circumstances; or

  2. A medical condition develops that prevents the individual from participating in the class (a medical note is required and only the unused portion will be refunded); or

  3. If the participant is dissatisfied with the program.

Adult Orientation

For your safety and to assist you in using proper form and technique, it is highly recommended that all new members go through this orientation.  Your questions about setting up an exercise program, and how to use and adjust the cardiovascular and weight equipment will be answered.  Please schedule an appointment with a fitness consultant at the customer Service Desk.

Youth Orientation

For safety purposes, it is mandatory that all youth ages 13-15 go through two 1-hour orientations with our staff prior to using the Cardio Room (Following orientation, 13 year olds must be accompanied by parent or guardian).  Free Weight Room useres must be at least 16 years of age, unless accompanied by a personal trainer.   We will cover the same items as an adult orientation and also show how exercise can be fun and can help improve self-esteem.  Participants will receive a card upon completion allowing them to use the fitness center.
